It appears that Apple iOS has placed restrictions on some wifi devices.
The devices we used in NEO gates 5 years ago are now discontinued products, and it seems that Apple will not allow connection of one of these devices as an Access point.
So our solution is to upgrade one of the NEO gates with current wifi module. This upgraded gate must always be the first to be turned on and will become the access point. All older gates will then connect to the access point because this is outside the Apple environment.
Upgrading a NEO gate requires shipping back to Australia and an RMA must be lodged before hand.
It may be a smarter idea to to buy a single G4 gate, which would resolve the issue plus leave you with a system with an extra gate.
