If you are experiencing erratic behaviors with your timing gate operation, the likely cause is Wi-Fi latency due to congestion on the channel that Syncro has automatically selected.
The latest Appstore version of Syncro has a new dialog for changing wifi channels.
You will see it on the connection page as below.
The default, set by Syncro is now channel 11, and if you have recently updsated the app, you will now be on channel 11, whcih may differ from previous selection.

Tapping on the gear icon, (circled), will allow you to select a different channel
If you have a PC with Microsoft Wi-Fi Analyzer installed you can see which channels are in use and also where the Swift network is setup.
