- SwiftAir requires slightly different workflow to connect
- Select your drill
- tap greyed icons and connect to the gates (unless you have autoconnect enabled in settings). Gate will show on Syncro and the gate as a 'breathing' LED status, slowly coming to full brightness , and fading away, in a repeating fashion. This indicate a successful connection and nothing else. No alignment has occur, nor will it until next phase.
- Once ALL gates are doing this, the connection has been confirmed and 'ALIGN' will appear in the top right hand corner.
- Press 'Align'
- At this stage the system sequentially checks each gate for alignment. Only ONE gate enters alignment mode at a time. If that gate is not aligned, its LED strobe will flash quickly. (In your case you may never see this happen because of your fixed installation.)
- Once all gates have tested positively for alignment, press FINISH
- Your system is now ready for testing
- Gate behaviour post Alignment
- Gates will periodically display a single 'breath' on their respective LED strobes to indicate to the user that they are alive and well.
- After a defined period of inactivity the gates will turn off, which you have already seen.
- Prior to turning off they will alert the user of impending turn-off via a short beep and a flash on the LEDS.
- If no drill is run to reset the time-out, the gates will turn off eventually.
- The first gate always remains on to speed up the auto connect function discussed in point 1.2
